As an entrepreneur, Maria believes very strongly in choosing the uncharted path. She has an MBA from Georgetown University; prior to starting and selling her own business, Maria spent 10 years working on marketing, branding, and growth for both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. She is a mother of three. When it came time to find a school for her daughter, she was frustrated by the lack of innovation and focus on averages that she saw in the traditional school model. This led her to The Village School, where she leads our admissions and development efforts, ensuring that we deliver on our mission to empower more children to embark on their own uncharted paths.
