Michaela Johnson graduated from Roanoke College with a degree in Political Science and Religion. Throughout her undergraduate career, she spent time volunteering as a Religious Affairs intern with local inclusion-based nonprofits in Roanoke VA. There, she discovered her passion for community engagement. In College, Michaela swam competitively on Roanoke's Varsity Swim team and is currently an active High School swimming coach. Prior to joining The Village School, Michaela worked as a Legislative Assistant with a nonprofit organization in D.C. In her free time, Michaela enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her cat, Cow.
